Events

The Rotary Club of Berry has long staged various events as part of its fundraising programs. Art & Craft shows, Film nights, Benefit nights and clearing sales are just some examples.

Current major community events are as follows:  

Australia Day Breakfast has become a regular feature on the Berry Calendar. 

A picnic breakfast, free entertainment, games for the children, and it all commences at the beautiful Berry Showground from early in the morning. Egg and bacon rolls, sausage sandwiches, tea, coffee and soft drinks are available from the Rotary BBQ and Grill.

The annual Berry Celtic Festival has been going for 10 years and commences with the tradition of the Grand Street Parade down the main streets of Berry, arriving at the Showground where the “Host of the Day” opens a day full of entertainment amid the angelic sounds of the massed bands.

 

The Berry Small Farm Field Days are held at the beautiful Berry Showground, Berry NSW in September and every year it gets bigger and better.

 

Berry is a small but vibrant rural community located just two hours south of Sydney and is set amongst rolling green pastures bordering the magnificent Cambewarra range to the west.

New Years Eve in Berry is one big party.

 

The Rotary Club stages a family fun night, with entertainment, free children's games, lots of stalls and carnival rides, plus the magnificient fireworks display at 9pm.

 

Berry Showground is packed full of hundreds of families enjoying the treat of sitting beneath the fireworks overhead.
